My Story
My name is Muhammad Ihsan, an English Literature student who has a strong interest in photography, visual storytelling, and color grading. Although my academic background is in language and literature, I believe that storytelling is not limited to words. A photograph can also tell a story, express emotions, and create meaningful experiences for its audience.
I consider photography and color grading to be important professions because today’s digital world relies heavily on visual communication. Businesses, content creators, and personal brands need high-quality visual content to communicate their identity and connect with audiences. Good visuals are no longer just about aesthetics; they also build trust, strengthen branding, and influence how people perceive a product or service.
I chose this profession because I genuinely enjoy observing visual details, especially when watching films. I often pay attention to cinematography, lighting, composition, and color tones rather than simply following the storyline. This curiosity inspired me to learn photography and editing, particularly color grading, because I realized that colors have the power to shape emotions and strengthen storytelling.
The value I want to provide is helping individuals and brands present themselves through meaningful visual content. I want every photograph that I create to have purpose, consistency, and emotional impact. Rather than simply producing attractive images, I hope my work can communicate messages that audiences remember.
My long-term goal is to become a professional visual storyteller who specializes in photography and color grading. I hope to collaborate with brands, creative businesses, and local entrepreneurs while continuously improving my creative and technical skills. More importantly, I want to keep learning, building my portfolio, and developing a unique visual style that represents my identity as a creator.
